How to Join the Art Society

Student Organizations are a great way for your sim to take their university life and academic career to the next level. Student organizations add to your sim's already busy class schedule making it a nice challenge for you to try, while also giving your sim exclusive benefits that can help them achieve academic success. The Art Society is a great opportunity for any sim who is pursuing a Fine Art or Art History degree at the University of Britechester.

To join the Art Society you need to attend one of the Art Society events, introduce yourself to one of the members, and then ask them to join the Art Society. The Sims 4 Discover University

The Sims 4 Discover University allows your sim to pursue higher education to receive a degree to help jump start their career. There are two universities in the world of Britechester that your sim can choose from. You can either attend the Foxbury Institute which is more focused on degrees that deal with science, math, and robots, or the University of Britechester which focuses on art, history, and literature.

Your sim can choose to either live at home and take classes while they work and raise their family, or live on campus and get the full college experience. Each university also offers unique student organizations for your sims to take part in and focus on learning new skills while building a network with like minded sims.

Student Organizations

Student Organizations are a great way to add to your game play, your sim will have the opportunity to compete in events, climb the ranks of their student organization, and receive unique benefits that are exclusive to that particular organization.

You can find out more about the student organizations at your university by checking out the organizations panel found by clicking on the social groups button in the lower right corner of your screen. The organization panel will show you all the upcoming events for all the organizations at both universities, it also is where you will find tasks and ranking information once your sim joins an organization.

Each university offers three unique student organizations for your sim to be a part of. The table below list all of the student organizations at each university. Keep in mind when enrolling in university your sim can only join the student organizations at the university that they are enrolled in.

How to Join the Art Society

To join the art society you have to ask a sim who is already a member of the art society to join. The best way to find existing members of the art society is to go to one of their events, and introduce yourself to some of the members.

The Art Society has three different events each week. On Tuesdays from 8:00 pm to 12:00 pm it is the Art Society Bar Night at Pepper's Bar in Britechester. On Sunday they have Figure Painting from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm near the canal by Ubrite Commons. Then they figure paint again on Monday from 3:00pm to 7:00 pm. If you can make it to one of these events you will find plenty of sims to ask to join the art society.

To easily distinguish the members of the art society you can hover over a sim and above their name it will say Art Society Member. Once you find a member of the art society you will need to introduce your sim to them. Once your sim is acquainted you will have the "Ask to Join Art Society" social Interaction. You don't need to worry about building up a relationship with one of the sims prior to asking, you can automatically join once you unlock the social interaction.

Art Society Rankings

Once you join the art society you will see your organization panel change. You will unlock a new tab that shows you your current ranking and tasks that you need to perform to climb the ranks and unlock all the benefits that come with being an Art Society member.

To level up to the next rank you have to finish a certain amount of tasks to fill up your progress bar. Tasks are provided for your sim multiple times a week. You want to finish as many tasks as possible. If you finish all your tasks very quickly do not worry, tasks refresh every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday morning giving you new opportunity to gain experience.

The Art Society has three different ranks you can work towards. When you first join you will be a New Member and now have access to an Organization T-shirt and Organization Poster. After socializing with other members, attending events, and doing tasks you will eventually gain enough experience to become a Seasoned Member. A Seasoned Member has the ability to earn extra credit for Fine Art and Art History classes when participating in Art Society events. After you gain some more experience you will soon be a Senior Member and you will be rewarded with a Rob Russ' Happy Little Easel and you will start gaining creative skills at a faster rate.

If you ever want to leave the Art Society you can easily do so by going to the organization panel and selecting the "Leave Organization" button at the top left of your organization panel. Don't worry though, if you ever decide to rejoin you will be the same rank as you were when you left. If you were senior member status when you left you will come back as a senior member with all the same benefits.

Art Society Cheats

If you don't want to go through the motions of doing all the tasks you can use cheats to advance your sim. To use Cheats in the Sims 4 hold down Ctrl+Shift+C for windows or Command (⌘)+Shift+C for Mac at the same time and a small bar will appear at the top left hand corner of the screen where you can type.

Once you have the cheat bar open you can enter the following cheats:

Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_ArtSociety 166 - Gives you enough progress to become a "Seasoned Member"

Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_ArtSociety 499 - Gives you enough progress to become a "Senior Member."

Stats.Set_Stat RankedStatistic_CollegeOrganization_Progress_ArtSociety 1 - Will put you back to a "New Member."

**These cheats only work if you are already a member of the Art Society.
